Adding and selecting a preferred payment method will allow you request an order. Depending on your country and city, you can add payment methods such as credit cards. Once the order has been accepted by the Chef, your selected payment method is charged.

During an order, use your app to check that your preferred payment method is selected. Swipe up from the bottom of the app and tap your desired payment method before the order ends.


1. Enter your card number.
2. Enter the expiration date, CVV number, and billing ZIP or postal code.
3. Tap SAVE.


1.Select “Payment” from your setting menu.
2. Tap + sign to Add Payment.

You can also add it directly from the order page.

LaPiat is designed to be an entirely cashless experience.

Once the Chef accepts your order, the payment method selected for your order is immediately charged. A receipt is emailed to you, and your account’s order history is updated with details about the order and fare.

Tipping is not required on LaPiat orders. Giving a chef a cash tip is left to your discretion.

Your account must have at least one payment method at all times. If you wish to delete your only payment method, you’ll need to add a new one first.
1. Select “Payment” from your Settings menu.
2. Select the card you’d like to delete.
3. Swipe right.
4. Tap DELETE, then confirm

You can edit a debit or credit card’s expiration date, CCV number, and billing zip or postal code.

1. Select “Payment” from your Settings menu.
2. Select the payment option you’d like to update.
3. Either click or swipe rights.
4. Make changes, then tap SAVE when you’re done.

While a credit card number can’t be edited, a card can be removed from your account and then added again as a new payment method.

LaPiat offers special promotions to provide discounts on orders. To apply a promotional discount to a order’s fare, enter the promo code anytime before your order begins.

Here’s how:
1. Select “Payment” from your app menu.
2. Scroll down to Promotions.
3. Tap Add Promo Code/Gift Code.
4. Enter the code and tap ADD.

Valid promo codes are automatically applied in reverse order. You’ll be unable to select your preferred promo code when you add more than one. Instead, your most recently added promo code will be applied to your current or next order. A promo code’s value will only apply to one order fare. Any remaining amount disappears.
